Nerve compressions are among the most common incidents in shibari. This course provides essential knowledge for both tops and bottoms: we will study the nerves most at risk during common ties, understand how they move through the body, and learn to evaluate potential dangers. The goal is to make tying safer, minimize the risks and to empower those being tied to recognize the symptoms of nerve compression and give clear, informed feedback. This knowledge is a necessary foundation for anyone practicing shibari.
