Queer Knots Playing Heat Edition
Copenhagen Queer Knots Festival
PLAYING HEAT EDITION 🔥
November 27 to 29, 2026
What happens when we loosen ourselves a little and let our curiosity lead?
This November, Copenhagen Queer Knots is turning up the heat.
For the first time, Queer Knots is opening its doors wider than rope, bringing different BDSM and kink practices into conversation with the shibari community we love so much.
Welcome to the Playing Heat Edition. 🔥
Three days of queer kink education, exploration, community, pleasure, and play.
A festival made by queers, for queers and their allies, created as a space where we can learn from each other, experiment, get curious, challenge ourselves, and discover new ways of connecting.
What to Expect
10 Classes, 2.5 Hours Each
Saturday and Friday are dedicated to learning, experimenting, and getting curious.
Across the festival, we will host 10 extended classes of 2.5 hours each, giving us enough time not just to learn a technique, but to actually explore it.
And this time, there is a twist.
Every class slot will offer you two different paths:
A rope option
An exploration into another kink or BDSM practice
You choose where your curiosity takes you.
Stay with rope. Step outside of it. Move between worlds. Discover connections you didn’t expect.
This is not about collecting techniques.
It is about asking:
What makes me curious?
What makes me feel alive?
How do I want to play?
7 International Queer & Kinky Educators
We are bringing together 7 international kinky educators with different practices, experiences, perspectives, and approaches to BDSM.
Expect rope, but expect much more than rope.
Expect people who care about their craft, who are excited to share their research, and who understand kink not simply as something we do, but as a space for communication, creativity, vulnerability, pleasure, power, and connection.
The full educator lineup and class program will be announced soon.
And yes.
It’s going to be HOT.
Friday: We Begin to Play
Friday opens the Playing Heat Edition with classes and shared exploration, giving us time to enter the festival together and start discovering what we want from the weekend.
Saturday: Turn Up the Heat
Saturday is our big day of classes.
And when the classes finish...
We stop studying.
And start playing.
Saturday night, Queer Knots transforms.
A carefully held queer play space for consensual, safer, respectful, and delicious exploration.
Sunday: Brunch, Community & All Day Play
We slow down.
Sunday morning begins with brunch together.
After brunch, the space opens for the entire day.
A long, gentle, juicy day to enjoy the community we have created together before eventually letting each other go home.
Who Is This Festival For?
Queer Knots is for people who want to explore kink with curiosity, intention, respect, and care.
You do not need to be an expert in every practice we offer.
This edition is about giving ourselves permission to be beginners again. To encounter something unfamiliar.
Some classes will require previous experience, particularly within rope, while others will invite you into practices that may be completely new to you.
Individual prerequisites will be clearly stated in the program.
The festival overall is not suitable for full beginners. if you have doubts please write to queerknots@gmail.com

Tickets & Solidarity Pricing
We want Queer Knots to be accessible to people with different financial realities.
For this reason, tickets are offered on a sliding scale based on income.
If you are a higher-income person and can afford it, please choose a Supporter Ticket.
Your ticket does more than get you through the door.
For every 10 Supporter Tickets sold, we will make one free ticket available to someone who otherwise could not afford to attend.
The additional contribution from 10 Supporter Tickets covers half of that ticket, and Copenhagen Queer Knots covers the other half.
It is one small way we redistribute resources inside our community and help make this space possible for more of us.
If you are a low income person please feel free to buy our low income tickets.
If you are a in a difficult economical situation please write to queerknots@gmail.com to get to know what are the options we can offer.
Made by Queers, for Queers and Allies
Queer Knots is intentionally queer.
It is a space built around queer experiences, bodies, identities, relationships, creativity, and ways of being.
Allies are welcome when they understand that entering a queer space comes with responsibility.
Am I an Ally?
You are welcome if you can genuinely say yes to all of the following:
You actively care for and respect marginalized people and communities.
You acknowledge your privilege where you have it.
You are willing to confront your own biases and prejudices.
You do not make assumptions about gender, sexuality, nationality, relationships, bodies, abilities, or health.
You know how to ask for and respect people's pronouns.
You understand that consent, boundaries, communication, and care are not optional.
You enter queer spaces knowing that you are a guest within them.
