Queer Knots Rope Jam- Copenhagen
QUEER KNOTS ROPE JAM
A soft space for intense ropes, connection & community
Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month | Copenhagen
Welcome to Queer Knots Rope Jam, a small, cosy gathering for queers and good allies who want to explore rope, share practices, meet new people and feel part of a community.
Twice a month, we come together to create a space where ropes can be intense, playful, tender, challenging, sensual, or simply curious. A space where we can experiment, learn from each other, exchange ideas, and enjoy the beautiful diversity of ways we relate to ropes and to one another.
This is not a workshop, but an open practice space, built, held and guided by the Copenhagen Queer Knots community. It's an invitation to meet the people behind Queer Knots, connect with local rope lovers, make new friends, find potential rope partners, and slowly weave yourself into our growing queer rope family.
We believe that intense ropes deserve soft spaces. Spaces where consent, care, curiosity, communication and mutual respect are as important as technique. Where nobody needs to perform, prove their skills, or fit into a particular way of tying or being tied.
All levels are welcome. You can come with your partner(s), your friends, or completely solo. There is no expectation to tie, be tied, or find a partner. You are just as welcome to observe, chat, share knowledge, or simply enjoy being around other queer rope enthusiasts.
We intentionally keep these gatherings small and intimate, with only a limited number of places available for each edition. This allows us to nurture a warm, familiar atmosphere where people can get to know each other, feel seen, and build connections over time.
Expect ropes, laughter, experimentation, gentle social awkwardness, new friendships, and a hot twist.
